I will be traveling to Scotland from USA on May 15th - 19th ( after which I go to Inverness to take a felting course for a week until the 26th). I would love to have an itinerary of what I can do with my 2 sisters ( who live in the UK) I fully realize this is an extremely short time - and I am sure there will be future visits. It is possible that we could just stay in Edinburgh for 2 nights and then go somewhere else for a day and a night - What would you recommend we do under the circumstances? What would be the best way to see Edinburgh and are there any night time entertainment venues - dinner - Bagpipes etc. That we could go to? Thanks so much.

Edinburgh is having a Festival of Museums starting May 18th. There's lot to do in the Greater Edinburgh area. Edinburgh is famous for it's Historic Pubs. There is a Piper Championship in Paisley near Glasgow while you are there. You just have to look for things of interest for May on line. Look at the Visit Scotland web site. I'm sure your sisters will have some great ideas. Bon Voyage.
