I like the pace very much.

But: What month and year? If you're planning for summer 2019, you can expect to have difficulty finding lodging in Oban and Portree.

I believe the Piping Center in Glasgow is closed at the moment, but check online for verification. And if your trip is well into the future, it may have reopened by the time you arrive.

I would never pre-pay for an evening activity on my arrival day, but perhaps you are made of sterner stuff than I am.

Thank you acraven for the response.
This is in April 2019.
We have been in pretty good shape the landing day, but not booking anything.
I do have some lodging for Oban and now Portree, (those looked problematic).
Having some difficulty with Inverness and not looked at later part of trip.

I tried (am still) to slow this one down.
Did three weeks in Ireland this past May and that was about right.
Circled (by car) the whole island and loved it (could have easily slowed further and added days).
Trying to keep clear of a "Griswold" pace:-)

For Inverness lodging you might consider the Holiday Inn Express or Premier Inn. Both chains, but reasonably priced and decent lodgings.

You will find the Fairy Pools very busy on Easter weekend. You might want to consider switching your plans around to do the Fairy Pools first thing in the morning before the trail (and parking) get too busy.
