13 Day Scotland Tour

Hi, I’m scheduled on the Scotland Tour in June. Our guide is Nigel Howes. Has anyone had experience with him?

Hi Beverly, we’re on the same tour as you. I was just looking up our guide also, but no success yet, he hasn’t accepted my friend request in Facebook. See you next week! Kathy

Thank you, Kathy, I guess we’ll know more soon! From what I have heard all his guides are great.
See you next week, for sure! Yippee!

Beverly, we took the 13 day trip a few weeks ago. We had another guide James. He was amazing. The tour far exceeded our expectations. You will love your trip. Hope you enjoy. Rick and your guide think of everything. Our group loved the tour.

On the tour now. So far it’s okay but not as good as Sicily or Basque tours. 6 days in and just had our 2nd meal together, doesn’t look like it’s going to be “ half the dinners”! One meal he did pay for one drink… maybe there budget has been cut? We’ll keep an open mind.

@kawhitcomb That’s interesting that you have only had two group meals. I would assume the first group dinner in Glasgow and that the one in Stirling didn’t happen? I would rather they comped me for the meals and skip the group dinners altogether as they give you no choice for meals and then there is the covid risk of eating with the group. I used to enjoy the group meals and camaraderie but not so much now. One of our group of the Southern Italy tour completely opted out of the group meals.

I am currently on a small group tour with seymour travels. Two guides (Mark and Charlie) plus seven tour mates. Loving the small group. Nigel should be a brilliant guide. He also helps lead tours with mark at his tour company.

He did Scotland when it was 10 day tour. Had James, we was awesome and he also had his own company
