I have read many things about The Knight Residence and the pictures are really great. How far away is the castle or Old Town. Looking at a map I couldn't really tell. Any other info on this place would be great!

We stayed there 11 years ago, so I double-checked TripAdvisor. In the traveler's photos on TA there is a picture looking up at the castle and that is what you see from the hotel. My husband was 60 at the time and we had no problem walking to and from the Royal Mile (but it is uphill). We enjoyed having the space to stretch out a bit. The staff on duty was very helpful. Sorry I haven't more info, but it was a quick stop for us.
