I've stayed at The Anderson in Fortrose Scotland on the Black Isle several times and always enjoyed my stay. My room was spacious; Jim, the host is gracious and friendly. The whiskey bar is definitely an attraction! Jim's wife is the chef and has an excellent selection ranging from Black Isle Beef to Cajun Turbot. There is also a pub and sometimes they have some live music. I should also mention that the ales are fantastic as well.
