Does anyone have a good recommendation for a nice guesthouse in Ullapool?
We want to break up the long drive from Isle of Skye to Orkney Islands with a 1 night stop in Ullapool. Both of the listings for guesthouses in the latest RS Scotland book require a minimum of 2 night stays in the summer months. We will be there this July.
Any help is appreciated !

https://www.booking.com shows at least 10 places to stay. You don't need to stay at an RS recommended place when it is only for one night.
I have only stayed at the youth hostel so I cannot comment on any of the other from personal experience. The hostel was nice and the second time I especially appreciated the drying room since I had fallen into a pond and all my luggage was wet. But that was 30 years ago.
