St. Columba Hotel is a lovely place to spend your time on the Isle of Iona. The food they serve is lovely and fresh. The service is timely and immaculate. We had problems with the ferry service getting off the island. The front staff called Caledonian Ferry and ensured we would have a boat to take us across at 6:45 a.m. the next day. The hotel even provided a ride to the dock for us at that time in the morning. The place is run by very kind and accommodating staff. Again this was a Rick Steve recommendation which was spot on.
