We’re booked at the McDonald Holyrood in Edinburgh in May, because we could only arrange vouchers for a trip originally planned for 2020. Has anyone stayed there recently? I notice that the 23rd edition of the travel guide does not list it. Just wondering…

I was there in 2010 . 12 years ago. Don’t know what it is like now. It was a very nice lovely hotel. Staff was very accommodating. The concierge even typed out instructions on how to drive/get to the airport on our departure morning.

We stayed there in 2016. Very nice hotel and pleasant stay. Good location.
