Looking for hotel or B&B near Tour company's pick-up point in Edinburgh and also in Glasgow

We are booked on a Scotland's wild tour leaving from Edinburgh, The Jolly Botanist, at 256 Morrison St. in September. It was suggested that we book close-by, because uber (or something) might not be reliable at 6:30-7:00 am. We are looking for recommendations for 2 people, and also if people have found that getting to the pick-up has been a problem or not?
Thanks!

That's in Haymarket and kind of a ways out, although walkable. How long are you in Edinburgh? Is this for a day tour or a multi-day tour? I don't know that it'd be worth it to stay there for one pickup if you're going to be in Edinburgh for multiple days. Also, what is your budget?

That said, there's a Premier Inn Hub that's very close. Premier Inns have very clean and comfortable rooms with comfy beds. Most of the Hubs have smaller rooms, though, so you wouldn't have a lot of room there. If it's only for one night, it might not be too bad, and it's certainly a short distance from your pickup point.

Last October I met a tour (not Rabbie’s) at the Jolly Botanist, also. Had to be there @ 7:00AM.
I stayed @ Ibis Edinburgh Centre Royal Mile in Hunter Square- 1.3 miles from Jolly Botanist. I had the hotel arrange to have a taxi pick me up @ 6:40AM- got to Jolly early. Also, the Ibis was a great location for seeing Edinburgh- I stayed there for a few days before my 5 day tour to Skye.

Whoops! I am a first-time poster, and planning a trip with multiple tours. I mixed up my tour companies and cities. The Edinburgh tour is from the Jolly Botanist, but with Scotlands Wild for a seven-day tour. So we are looking for lodging for a few days before the trip. and a couple of days afterwards .

We are also booked with Rabbies, for a 3 day trip, out of Glasgow, leaving from the Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station, and are looking for lodging for a night before, and after.

Should I repost this correctly?

No, this is fine. You can edit this post if you want. Just go up to the top and change Rabbie's to the name of the correct tour company so that people aren't confused, but really it's not even necessary to do that.

I definitely would do what mk9876 suggested above, and go ahead and get a hotel in the main city center of Edinburgh so you can access all the sites conveniently, and then just have your hotel have a taxi come to the hotel at whatever time you need. It shouldn't be a problem for them.

If you let us know your budget and what kind of hotel you're looking for, we can give you some suggestions.

The Resident Edinburgh is about a ten minute walk to the Jolly Botanist. But you should have a problem getting an Uber at that early hour. I've gotten them.

In Glasgow, The Holiday Inn, The Holiday Inn Express and the Premier Inn Buchanan are each about a block or two away from the Buchanan Bus Station.
