John Munro is owner and treats guests like dear friends. Very good for budget travelers. Very clean. Lots of steps, so not good for folks with joint issues. Basic, pleasant decor. Great location. Just above Rocpool restaurant, next to bridge. Close to TI, stores, restaurants, grocery store/ATM (Tesco).
Laundromat is located just a couple doors down. Drop-off/pick-up laundry service available at reasonable price. Very nice breakfast buffet with window view of river. Mini-fridge available and fresh fruit, snacks, drinks, and newspapers available for guests on landing area for barely more than the grocery store cost (honor system) and free for little tikes. John Munro was so nice to my young daughter and gave her a Nessie Book that became her favorite souvenir. I would stay here again.

I'll second this review of Castle View B&B. I stayed there a few years ago and it was great. The location was good, the breakfast was good, and my room was very nice.
And dinner at the Rocpool one night was excellent as well!
