Hotel by Edinburgh airport with shuttle

Hey! We are going on a Scotland trip in September and our flight out of Edinburgh leaves early.
Does anyone know of a good, reasonably priced hotel by the airport with shuttle?
We are 4 adults with a 1 year old little girl.
Thanks!

We stayed at the Hilton Doubletree that is right near the airport - it was an easy walk to the airport that morning or they do have a shuttle. Also the food in their restaurant was pretty good for dinner the night before. It was a nice, clean, comfortable place to stay for an early flight. You can find the hotel online..

Same recommendation. I just stayed there last week (DoubleTree). Rental car drop off is across the street and you can walk to the hotel after dropping off your car. And they have a free shuttle that runs every 15 minutes. A great crash pad. Only down side is the rooms can be noisy especially especially if you have to open the windows (no air conditioning). Bring ear plugs. We did and we slept fine.

Thanks so much for the recommendation...guess I might have to bite the bullet and pay the Hilton price...noticed there was a Hampton that looks close too...not sure about airport shuttle from there though. However, we will have a 2 cars to turn in so the Hilton will be convenient for that as well as being in such close proximity to the airport...so it might be worth the price. I appreciate your advice!

Hi, don't know if this helps, and I caveat I do not know how early your flight is - but try the Hub by Premier on Rose Street? It is in the New Town area - fabulous location! There is a trolly from around the corner we took from hotel directly to the airport the day we left. 30 min tops door to door, rolled on and rolled off with big bags. Short walk right into terminal. Could not have been easier. I do not know where Hyatt is, but sometimes those airport hotels require a lot of walking to terminals. Plus, don't you want to maximize your time in Edinburgh by having a last (early) night in town vs. the airport?

HUB room was $134 USD per night with breakfast. With a one year old, get the "bigger" room (they have small and larger rooms). Located in a pedway so perfect for a stroller.

Here is link to trams - you will need to check what time they start running in the morning and whether that will allow you to make flight.

Enjoy!

The website for the Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh Airport says that the hotel provides a 24-hr. shuttle to the airport. I can't personally vouch for the accuracy of the claim, but this is where I plan to book--unless I learn this isn't true--for our last night in Scotland on a trip I'm currently trying to piece together. (The rate is less that the Doubletree, and the hotel appears to be closer to the airport.)
