Fort William: excellent cheap lunch

In Fort William, staking out a good location to shoot a photo of the Jacobite steam train as it passed by, we stumbled upon what has to be the best lunch value in Scotland. Morrison's supermarket, located just north of the train station and bus depot, has a cafeteria with good fresh food at bargain prices. For less than 10 pounds we were able to buy 2 good-sized sandwiches with 2 bags of crisps, a cup of coffee and a bottle of Irn Bru, and a generous slice of apple tart with cream.

To add to the enjoyment, kids from a local primary school were in the store doing flashmob dancing to raise money for a class trip to Edinburgh. So cute!

I got my £3 meal deal at that same Morrison's a couple of weeks ago.
