Just returned from wonderful week in Orkney, and wanted to share my recommendation for a nice place to stay there. We spent 3 nights at the lovely Grainbank Mews on the outskirts of the town of Kirkwall. Renovated completely in 2024. Delightful family lives on site and is so friendly. Large rooms with lots of natural light from big windows. Extremely clean, nice breakfast each morning. Highly recommend.
