Two weeks sago we stayed in a lovely BnB in Edinburgh called NO. 53 Frederick Street (also the address). The room was lovely, clean and roomy and the location was walking distance to all the sights (rate was 97 pounds for the night). It is operated by Tessa and her brother who live on the premises, they are most accommodating.
Tessa recommend we dine at Cafe Marlayne around the corner. It was charming, most comfortable and wonderful food.
