We spent the last 5 nights at the Ard Na Said. Despite previous reports on this forum, the B&B is still owned by Jim & Olive Lyons & are very much open for business. We talked to Olive this morning & she confirmed this.
We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious, had very comfy & large bed. Loved the breakfast--never had better porridge. Great location! --Debbie

Good Morning, I would like to confirm that Ard-Na-Said is still open for business under new ownership. From 14th October the guest house has been run by the Ballantine family. We continue to run the business as Jim and Olive did, with some improvements to the breakfast room. There are now enough tables and chairs for each room to have its own breakfast table if everyone wants to eat at the same time. At the beginning of next year we hope to upgrade the breakfast room so that it can also be used as a relaxing lounge in the evening.
