I will be in Bergen (hotel in Bryggen area) for one evening in February. I am looking for any suggestions for a nice restaurant, preferably with some Norwegian food selections). Thanks.

You request Bryggen area. Bergen is small. We stayed across the bay from the Bryggen and it was a very short walk over there. So you can broaden your search options.
We did have a fish soup lunch at a cafe we found listed in RS Norway. It was our first experience with the prices in Norway, equivalent of $100. USD for two soups and two cokes.

Bergen is small (walkable). Just walk about and see what looks interesting.
As an aside, the Bergan hotel we stayed at many years ago had an "afternoon tea/coffee" that featured do it your welf Norwegian waffles. https://www.visitnorway.com/things-to-do/food-and-drink/waffle-is-the-king-of-kos/
