Wonderful restaurant in Oslo

I had one of the most memorable meals of my life at hos Thea in Oslo.

They have a 4- or 6-course chef's menu with wine pairings (the wine costs as much as the food), or you can order a la carte. I did the 4-course menu with just two glasses of wine which I asked the server to select for me. She ended up bringing me a complimentary glass of Moscato with dessert.

The servers were all delightful, the food was gorgeously served and very delicious. The overall experience was amazing.

And it was extremely expensive, but since an average meal in Oslo will set you back $50 or more, I was willing to spend $100 for a meal I'll never forget.

We ate at hos Thea as well and found it to be exactly as described! We were treated like invited dinner guests enjoying a wonderful and unique meal. We selected the 4 course meal with a bottle of wine and it was fantastic! (You choose 4 of the 6 so between the two of us we got to taste everything) The servers actually suggested taking a breather between courses rather than rushing one course out after another. All was beautifully served and delicious! They were happy to have us take our time and enjoy the whole dining experience at their restaurant. The Chef came out several times and even poured us a glass of wine to go with our cheese course! It was a perfect ending to a great trip to Norway!
