Hotel in Stockholm.

We just got back from Stockholm and stayed at Hotel Reisen. The room was lovely. Spacious, beautiful view of the bay, excellent location. Its in Gamla Stan- Old Town. We walked everywhere from here. And such a beautiful property and room to come back to each day. It is expensive.

We stayed in the Scandic Gamla Stan and the price was fair and a great location. The breakfast was okay

Thanks for your help. I think we will try, or at least make a cancellable reservation at the Queens Hotel. It was a difficult search.

We've stayed in two wonderful places. Hotel Skeppsholmen, more centrally located, and Hotel J, which is Nacka. I especially loved staying in the original building at Hotel J, although the upper levels have scenic views. Both have lovely breakfasts, and I still think about my breakfast at Hotel J. Nacka is connected to the rest of Stockholm via water taxi and bus, both easily used. Have a wonderful time!

Swedish friends recommended Hotel Hasselbacken in Djurgarden. Ferry connections to Gamla Stan. We enjoyed the hotel and location.
