eating in Helsinki

Konstan Molja restaurant near Hietalahti Market is an absolutely fantastic place to eat what the Finns eat. The menu gives you the feeling that you came to your grandma's house for a feast. The décor is lovely, like a Finnish fishing cabin, and the food flavorful and abundant. It is set out as a buffet, and in May 2016, was 19 Euro. Very glad that I found it. It should be in Rick's book!

That sounds especially inexpensive for Scandinavia. We ate at TGI Friday's in Helsinki in September, 2015--2 burgers w/fries and 2 Cokes and the bill was equivalent to $60.
Most inexpensive way to see the region is from a cruise ship.
