We are considering staying at Copenhagen Strand Hotel while in Copenhagen this summer. One of few places with "family" rooms for my husband, myself and our two teens. Would you consider this a good location? We enjoy walking and using public transit on vacation so we don't need to be next door to all the action but don't want to be too far away from things. Also, if anyone is famiilar with the hotel would love to hear what you thought of your stay.

It looks like it is close to Nyhaven which is a good location. We did not like where we stayed , near Tivoli, and this location looks so much better! However, I do not know this hotel.
Suki thanks! I think I am going to book here. This seemed like a good location to me as well. Plus it's very challenging to find family rooms! Everything I have researched the common theme I find is people suggesting using Copenhagen as your base for a lot of exploring of Denmark. I just want to make sure we are located in a section of the city that is fairly safe and has easy access to public transit, food and maybe some sights nearby. Thanks again.
We stayed at the Skt. Petri last fall for my daughter’s wedding. I think they have connecting rooms. It’s a very nice hotel! I like this location better but I think the Strand would be ok too.
We ended up booking at the Villa Copenhagen. The room available at The Strand seemed on second glance that it may not work for our crew. Thanks agin for the input!
