Visa. dates missing on my passport for travel varification

I'm looking to apply for a Russian visa, realize my old passport has only an exit stamp from 2007.
also nothing was stamped when I went to Canada to fly to Hong Kong, which was stamped in and out.

will this be a problem? have you had the same problem?

greatly appreciate your input! and help!

I guess I am am not sure what you are asking. You are posting on a Russia thread, perhaps they have more strict rules, but in general in many years of travel I have a number of trips where you can not either decipher the entry or exit stamp, or even received a stamp at all. I would find it odd that they would take the time to extensively plot out your travel, more likely just to get a general idea of where you travelled.

Thanks! Yes i am planning on a Russian trip.

When I was organizing my overseas dates for my Russian visa, i realized my trip to Italy years ago only had the exit date stamped. Thus my concern. I've traveled some, just never needed a visa before.

Maybe others have specific experience with Russian Visas, but as long as the information on the visa application is correct, that is what is important. I think most that have traveled have passports with smudged or unreadable stamps or missing stamps.

I agree with Paul's comments . I obtained my Russian Visa last May for my September 2015 trip . and I did have some compromised or missing stamps from over the years . The application asks for your previous destinations and dates of travel , which is important . I would be more concerned about what appears to be the impending expiration of your current passport and look into that quickly . When are you planning to go to Russia ?

Thanks Steven...
It's very easy to get to, had scoped it out ... except with our major construction and lack of downtown parking it's a challenge....most likely will take water taxi to downtown then walk!
Cheers....
