Travel to eastern Russia

Our trip to Russia starts May 1 and we visit Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka on the 9th. Hopefully sanctions, etc., will not escalate by then but who knows? My question is, since this is not a huge city like Moscow or St. P, where the global banks certainly are, will there still be ATMs, etc., for us to obtain rubles?

Its usually expected that any airport will have an ATM machine available. Since we don't research or cover Russia in any way we cant say for sure whether that one does or not. Many airports have their own websites which list that information. If you know the airport you are flying into, take a look online to see if that's available. Sorry we couldn't help more.

Every city in Russia has tons of ATMs. It will be no problem.
