St. Petersburg

Is it possible to do a canal dinner cruise in St. Petersburg similar to the ones in Paris?

There isn't a St. Petersburg in Italy. Did you mean St. Petersburg, Russia?

I know there are canal cruises (mostly with Russian narration, a few with English narration), but I don't know if there are dinner cruises.

There is a whole bunch of canal excursions, both in English and Russian, but the canals are pretty narrow and bridges are low, which is not conducive to fine dining experience (one is required to sit down every time the boat approaches a bridge, and there are about 500 of them :-)
That said, there is a dinner cruise ship (Volga Volga) which does scheduled one-hour cruises along the Neva. It's s bigger ship, though, and it cannot enter canals and tributaries.
The food is decent, and you do get to see the UNESCO-protected skyline.
