Hey guys, I'd like to share an itinerary (7 days in Moscow and St Petersburg). I might go through this trip in summer 2017, not really sure if it works.

An interesting itinerary tool! Maybe a bit confusing with the mixture of languages, but photos surely help.
As to the itinerary proper, I'd say definitely doable, but I noticed that the Moscow leg is pretty much limited to the very central area (in and around the Kremlin) - any reason for that?
Also, why go to train station in the morning of day 2? A dry run?

I also couldn't see your itinerary when I clicked on the link. Maybe you could write it out- I'll be happy to respond with any thoughts. I do know that you can fly between Moscow and St. Petersburg for only about $50. Both cities are very interesting.
Central Moscow is exciting to visit although I'm sure everything around it has changed since I visited 20 years ago. I would expect the major sites around the Red Square area haven't changed too much. I can't speak to St. Petersburg other than from a few friends that have visited - they say go!
