Hi, We have a week trip to Moscow planned for April. Does anyone have hotel or b&b recommendations? Of course, we hope to stay near the center or very close to a good metro stop nd keep the price down to $150 or under per night. Thanks!

Hi, we just completed a week in Moscow. We had made the reservations months ago but the Best Western Vega is great. It is a large ( not Rick Steves type) hotel but it was $98 per night. It is a short walk to the Metro and there are cafe's and food stores handy. We also stayed at the Skypoint at the SVO airport the night before we left. It was about $165 for a window room and about $120 for a windowless room. Simple but clean and quiet.
The prices were good since we made the reservation months in advance.

Hi, We are leaving for Moscow in a month and we were wondering if anyone has been there in the past week or two. If so how did it go…any problems. We are staying at the Marriott so I will let you know how that is

We were there two weeks ago and there was no problem and did not see any demonstrations.
