Moscow 3 year visa Warsaw Hotel

No problem upon arrival in Moscow with my second trip on 3-year visa except long wait until the
early morning plane from China cleared.

Hotel Warsaw worked out perfectly in terms of location (at October metro station) and price. It is near some more-than-adequate restos, and with an 8th floor breakfast room with a spectacular view of Moscow. I travelled as a single man - the bedroom was adequate for one, and the bathroom was modern. My room faced a courtyard and the rear of the metro station and was quiet.

Yes, Garage worth a visit, especially if you are 'into' contemporary art. The building is a re-purposed (by Rem Kollhaas) Soviet restaurant imaginatively done with an excellent cafe and is open late until 10 pm. On now is the First Triennial of Russian Contemporary Art. It is in Gorky Park and across the way (10 min walk maximum) is the Tretyakov's Modern 'Wing' whose first ten or so galleries of art from 1910 - 1930 are knockouts. So would recommend you visit both art spaces, and if you have time to walk around the Sculpture Park just outside the Treyakov Modern.
