Boshoi Ballet in Moscow?

Hi Y'all!

We're traveling to Moscow and St. Petersburg on 31 October, and are interested in seeing the Boshoi Ballet. Tickets are quite pricey ($300 each, yikes!) and there apparently are two different venues, the main stage and the small stage. Our booking agent recommended this website http://www.operaandballet.com/, but the information is a bit confusing.

Any thoughts in venues/performances/is it worth the expense? Any other ballet/don't miss entertainment recommendations? We're living in London temporarily, so this is an easy flight for us, but we likely won't be back for a return visit.

http://www.bolshoi.ru/en/ this is official website of bolshoi. You can buy tickets online. But for the most popular performances tickets are sold out in advance, only the most expensive are available. Ballet is very dood - IT IS WORTH SEEING. some tickets can be found through agents.

http://kremlinpalace.org/en/content/event another option is ballet in kremlin. It is much cheaper 10-30$.

We traveled to Moscow last May. We ended up going to the Bolshoi ticket office to see if they had any last minute tickets. We definitely needed to use our Russian-English translation app, but ended up getting seats for Ivan the Terrible ballet for less than $30 a ticket. They weren't the best seats, but the ballet was wonderful- definitely a highlight of our Moscow trip.
