Ben from Monday Night Travel?

On the last MNT, I saw in the comments/question area that someone asked the question and I believe the response was he is currently staying with a friend in Finland.

I’m glad to hear this, I was wondering about Ben myself. I suppose he will come home at some point?

I hope Ben is back in the US as I just heard that many commercial airlines are canceling flights to/from Russia. I do understand he’s in Finland but my mother hen self wants him to home safe. I bet his family agrees!

Nigel: Rick’s MNT show has 3 moderators, Ben, Gabe and Lisa. They introduce Rick and work behind the scenes to manage the chat section of the Zoom meeting. Since Ben was in Russia studying, he has not been active in the MNT show while he was there. Rick often has guests on the show, it isn’t just about Rick with his wine and snacks. It seems you haven’t actually seen it. MNT is something I look forward to each week and helped keep up the spirits of many of us during the Pandemic when we couldn’t travel.

Please keep us updated on Ben! We have been worrying about him!

On MNT Rick just informed us Ben flew on the second to last flight leaving Russia last week. He is staying with friends in Finland and will finish his Study Abroad Year there. So glad he will be able to complete his studies!
