We are planning on visiting the Armory at Red Square in Moscow.
The tour description states that large backpacks and bags are not allowed.
That seems to be pretty vague and subjective in defining bag size.
Does anyone have any experiences or information on bringing daypacks, purses, etc into the museums? Thanks in advance!

We were told by our guide not to bring any bags there due to lengthy security screening.

Anything bigger than a purse is a no-go (but there is a free bag check by Kutafya tower in Alexander's garden).
