Usually do independent travel but this time would like minimal responsibility. Dad and I (both seniors) are looking for all inclusive tours (don't need all meals or airfar, just hotel , touring and transport between SPB and Moscow. Any recommendations? Thanks

Check this website: http://www.expresstorussia.com . About 3 years ago we used them for tours in SPB and Moscow (including accommodation) and also cruise on Volga River from Moscow to Astrakhan. While accommodation and cruise were not luxurious (we did not expect it) we were overall satisfied and especially cultural programs on the cruise ship were authentic and very good. We learned a lot about Russia.

I've used Dan Petrov on both my visits to Moscow. www.waytorussia.com is his direct website. I consider Dan my personal friend now as we stay in touch regularly. He's a wonderful guy and will tailor anything you want.

Just to close the loop... Dad and I used the express to Russia company. We did their Moscow and St Petersburg group tour. Very pleased with everything. The guides (esp the one in Moscow , Vera) were excellent. Only caution, the hotel in St Petersburg , while lovely, was rather isolated. It was a 15 min walk to public transportation . Didnt work well for us, but we did enjoy the tours there
