Buy the Paris museum pass as they indicated. Then buy a guided tour ticket, you can do this online and print it out in your hotel once there in France. You will meet in a side building and get to go see sights - and of course - skip the huge security line experience. They have tours in English and we went through the private apartments of the King.
If you parle francais you obviously have lots more options as you can see from the link above.
I will ditto the comment of one of the callers. Do plan on going during the fountain shows. It's absolutely stunning and amazing and adds so much to the experience.
