451a and dealing with jet lag

Your re-airing of 451a and the tale of handling jet lag inspired me to share how I visited Italy for the first time, flying in from San Francisco. We went to Milan, then straight to the train station and went to Stresa on Lago Maggiore. This was a perfect way to spend a few jetlagged days. There's nothing you "must" see. No museums to trudge through. Almost impossible to get lost. Just beautiful scenery and lots of strolling. Frequent ferries to take you out on the lake and to islands where you can do more strolling. Gelaterie and Bars.

By the time we left we were mostly acclimated to the time zone, and had comfortably adapted to getting by in Italy. Ready to face Milan.
