My wife and I are looking for one or two nice location(s) in southern Europe to spend a couple months away from the cold NY winter (Jan/Feb). A couple years ago we spent 3 weeks in Lisbon in the spring and loved it. We enjoy exploring the food scene whenever we travel, so having access to good restaurants and the occasional fine dining splurge is important to us. We’re open to big cities or small towns. Ideally the location would also offer a few day trip opportunities. All suggestion’s would be greatly appreciated.
