Hello, I will be traveling with my husband and another couple to Lisbon in July for a week. We plan to spend one day in Sintra (day trip) and are also interested in visiting a winery or two during our stay another day. Has anyone done this before and have good recommendations (also information on how to get there). My google search led me to Adega Regional de Colares which is 45 minutes from our Airbnb (Baixa). We do not want to rent a car because we will be drinking at the winery. Thank you!

The winery in Colares is very small - and wouldn’t be my choice. There are a number of larger wine estates that would be accessible as a day trip.
I just googled ‘wine tours from Lisbon’ and got several interesting hits. The Time Out article listing seven wine tours looks especially good.
