A group of us will be staying in Douro Valley for three nights (Pinhao specifically) this May, and I’d love recommendations for wine tours that will pick us up and drop of us.

To my knowledge ( and a quick google search), the tours that pick you up all start from Porto.
I’ve stayed in Pinhao a couple of times and we have just visited the wineries on our own. If you won’t have a car (I haven’t), there are taxi services in the area. The Quinta or hotel where you are staying can call for you.
One of the wineries (sorry, can’t remember the name), does an open Jeep tour of their land, driving up to the top of the hills. It’s quite nice and the views are great.
Quinta de la Rosa has a lovely wine tasting/tour at their Quinta. There are a number of other Quinta’s and wineries in the area. Most of them will likely require reservations for tastings.

I have the same question about a wine tour in the Douro Valley. We are staying in Peso de Regua in July. We would like a wine tour and lunch. I dream of a tour similar to what we had with Roberto in Tuscany.

We were able to find several tours that started in the Douro Valley on Airbnb experiences. I recommend checking it out!
