Anyone traveling to Portugal (or, frankly, anyplace else where it's summer) should be aware of major wildfires currently hitting Portugal. It's still early in (what used to be) the traditional "fire season" in many places, odds are it's going to get worse as we get deeper into summer. Be aware of what's happening, stay updated with the latest news where you are going, be prepared to be flexible in your plans, stay safe.
