Which Portugal Sites Recommend Advance Ticket Purchase?

We're planning an April trip to Portugal, beginning and ending in Lisbon. Which landmarks, monuments, etc., requiring ticket entrance would be wise to purchase in advance? ...especially in Lisbon?

The only one I can think of would be the Jerónimos Monastery in Belem - possibly. But in April even it would be easy if you get there fairly early. You might want to check their website to see if they do advance tickets.
Lisbon isn’t really about blockbuster sites like in Rome or Paris. It’s really the ambiance of the city, wandering the streets and having long lunches on miradouros.
However, if you plan a trip to Sintra (which you should), you might want to buy advance tickets of Pena Palace if you can.

Does any reader recommend the Lisboncard and is it easy to use on transit?
Thanks in advance.
