Where to drop off car in Lisbon?

We are planning on renting a car as we leave Porto at the train station and return it when we arrive in Lisbon. The question is where. When I have searched online there are multiple options. I am looking for easiest in terms of drop off but also to go into the city.

A separate question is about rental agencies. We have previously used local agencies in Greece and then rented through autoeurope in Sicily. Are there any local agencies that would allow pick up in Porto and return in Lisbon? Or do we need to stick to the international brands?

We prefer to pickup and drop off rental cars at the airport.
Airport locations have the largest selection of vehicles ( important if renting automatic transmission instead of manual) and are outside the city center making it easier to get in and out.

At Lisbon airport the Metro Red line is only a few meters outside the arrivals.

All the car rental agencies I've used in Portugal allowed pickup and drop off at different locations, not so if doing it outside of the country or very expensive charge ( Spain).
I also use AutoEurope that aggregates the local agencies ( Sixt, Zest, etc.).

That is helpful. We will return at the airport in Lisbon then. We rented a manual in Sicily and my husband drove it without any mishaps so will probably do the same in Portugal. We used to both drive manuals but don't any more but there wasn't much availability of automatics and there was considerable price difference.

We used AutoEurope as we do for all our European trips. Easy, no hassles.

Several car rental agencies have office very close to Cascais

It is convenient to return car there and just hope on the train if avoiding to drive in Lisbon city
