Where to buy curling iron in Porto

Hi everyone. I'll be in Portugal next week. I have a travel hair straightener I bought in Italy many years ago that I take with me when I'm overseas, but I would really like to have a small travel curling iron I can use in Europe as well. I'll be in Porto first so would like to get one there. Can anyone tell me where I might find one? My google search showed several stores, but who knows if they'll actually have what I'm looking for, so I thought I'd check here in case anyone knew of a place.

Thank you!

It looks like Primor has stores in Porto. It’s like Ulta Beauty in the U.S., and I’ve seen driers, straighteners and such at their stores in Spain.

If you are Amazon user consider to order to be delivered to you at your hotel. Here is a link explaining (there is no Amazon site actually in Portugal, but you can ship there from Amazon US or Spain or others). https://wise.com/gb/blog/order-amazon-portugal. Sometimes its fun to go on the "hunt" for something you need on your travels. Other times you would rather not.

I took my US hairdryer and curling iron to Europe last May and bought for the trip a three prong converter from Amazon that has the ability to convert to EU and Britain. It’s worked great and I would highly recommend the converter.

I’ll look for the Primor store once I get settled in. I could only find curling irons that needed a converter/adaptor on Amazon and I’d rather get one specifically for use when I’m in Europe. Thanks everyone!

I bought a flat iron at the El Corte Ingles (a department store) in Lisbon and they had a selection of curling irons. There is an El Corte Ingles in Porto (although I don’t know how convenient it would be to get to).

Worten or Auchan would also be options. Both would have curling irons.

Now for the dumb guy question...

Why do you need a curling iron and hair straightener ?

Haha Joe, I changed my hairstyle, but that’s a reasonable question. 😊
