Where in Lisbon to stay

My wife and I are planning a week+ visit to Lisbon. We will use AirBnB to find commendations, but wonder which area would be best for "Young" seniors who want to return to a quite night's sleep. Alfama, Baixa or Bairro Alto? From what I read, I am leaning toward Alfama, but wonder if I am being "boring".

Well I might be boring, but we stayed in the Alfama ( or just above) and loved it. There were several great restaurants in walking distance for us, and we enjoyed the neighbourhood. There was also a lovely little shop that sold our evening glass of Port. We were very close to the castle, in fact I believe the area was called Castelo. It was very quiet in the evening.

I was a "young" senior on my first trip to Lisbon and would have really struggled staying in Alfama - even though it is very picturesque with lots of restaurants. The hills in that area are a real challenge for these senior knees 😊
I stayed in the Baixa area the first time and then spent a month in the Campo de Ourique area. Both areas were flatter so I could walk out of my apartment without climbing a hill immediately. Of course, your knees may be in better shape than mine - in which case - Alfama would not be a boring choice. I'm thinking Barrio Alto might not be as quiet at night as you would like.
