Considering doing RS Heart of Portugal, with additional 10 days on our own (in a TBD split before & after) to do things the RS tour doesn't. The RS tour itinerary appears to spend 1 day in Evora , but does not include the Megaliths (and not even all of the town). After looking back at the many recent postings that mention Evora and megaliths, it seems to me that several of our extra days could be well spent in & around that locale.
I've already penciled-in a plan to spend at least 1-2 days in Lisbon & Sintra before the tour and 3-4 days around Porto/Douro/Minho area after the tour. Since we'll most likely fly in/out of Lisbon and will therefore need to get from Porto to Lisbon after the RS tour ends, does it make more sense to spend extra days in Evora before or after the RS tour? Other thoughts for arranging our time?
