Going o 2 week trip second week of October with a group of ladies. Visiting Porto, Lagos, Evora and Lisbon. Would appreciate any tips/advice on what clothing to pack. Thank you!
I love traveling in October! I'm sure most would agree that you should pack in layers. The weather can change by the day. I like to always have these gloves in my jacket. They take up little space, yet they are so appreciated when needed. You can probably even get them at your local dollar store for $1.
I also like to bring packable vests. They keep your chest cavity warm when needed, and they take up little space in your luggage.
Your trip sounds amazing! Have fun!
Porto is likely to be a few degrees cooler than Lagos. The west coast is windy.
October can be variable, but it should still be warm, with a chance of showers and some days will be hot enough for sunbathing.
You are unlikely to need gloves and a hat, even at night. Pack layers including a waterproof jacket and a good pair of walking shoes, as Lisbon is hilly.
Thank you so much for the great advice! I have shared the info with the ladies I'm travelling with.
