I'll be traveling with a family of five, so getting cheap airfare is important. I found the open jaw flights we need on TAP for $810, which seems like a great fare (compared to all other high airlines;) but might they get even cheaper if we wait longer? I have read that 99 days in advance for international flights is deemed to be the best timeframe to buy? I guess the question is, are rates likely to go down at some point, or should I grab these for $810? We are going on June 28, 2019 (JFK to Porto) and then returning on July 17, 2019 (Faro back to JFK).
I believe for an open jaw snag those now at that price for peak travel time July . That is a reasonable price. considering that you will not have to pay to go back to Lisbon from Faro
hey kerry
grab em. that's a good price, in fact kayak had another for $761 plus taxes and insurance with multi-city.. layover times are good. call airline and see if that fare is there with them. i've used justfly to sfo-venice-amsterdam to sfo last year with no problem. different feelings from the forum for using third party. when ready to book you probably need all passports numbers to book flights. it won't get better or cheaper since you are traveling in high season and hot season. once they're bought don't look back.happy travels
aloha
Thank you!!!
