What is the best way to purchase these tickets? One of us is a senior and the other is not, so maybe the Lisboa card isn't the best way for us to get into some of the main sites. Suggestions? We want to secure tickets ahead of time.
We bought our tickets in advance for this site but it turned out that the ticket-purchase line was pretty quick. The long line was the line to enter the Monastery. We stood there for about 40 minutes. Every time we went by, the line was similar. Not a huge deal but good to know.
Here’s a link to the ticket purchase. I found the site confusing because there were a lot of variations of combo tickets: https://bilheteira.patrimoniocultural.pt/pos/event/list
What time of year are you going ?
We are there Mid May.
Thank you for your responses!
Was just there Sunday. Lisboa Card holders had no line at all, they were just waved into the monastery. The line for those who had already bought tickets online was not too bad, about 15 minutes, but be aware it is in the direct sun with no shade. This was in the early afternoon on a Sunday. Also be aware if you go on Sunday that access to the church is not available during Mass. We were not able to enter the church until 2:00. But this is a separate line from the monastery.
