Whale Watching

My boyfriend and I are travelling to Lisbon end of May/beginning June. We booked an apartment and excited to explore the city. However, I am mostly looking forward to doing some whale watching, but it seems we can only do that from the Azores islands. We wanted to fly there but it isnt feasible for a 5 day stay. Are there any whale watching tours that take off from Lisbon? or perhaps another port area that is a drive away (as opposed to a two hour flight to Azores)?

I was waiting to see if someone with more knowledge had info, but I believe you are out of luck doing this in Portugal except in Azores. Certainly the odds are high for this type of excursion in Sao Miguel, but with 5 days in Lisbon it would be time wasted. If you ever want to plan a trip to the Azores and stay a week or more, then I can help. Sorry I can't give a better answer.
