Hello travelers,

We are scheduled to depart the US for Portugal on October 7. I’m looking for your suggestions for weather report sites or apps that are fairly reliable - as reliable as you can these days. This is mainly for packing purposes . We tend to pack light and bring only a carry on so hoping to optimize our packing space!

We will be in Porto, coimbra, evora and Lisbon . I realize these destinations have different climates which is also a consideration for packing.

I mainly use Accuweather and IPMA. IPMA doesn’t have an app but it’s easily found via google. It’s the Portuguese Marine weather agency and is thought to be the best. I’ve found Accuweather is good for accurate temperatures but not so much for rain.

I use the Weather Channel app. Evora will probably be the warmest city followed by Coimbra, then Porto. We were in Porto last week and it was getting cool (low 60s) at night.
