Hi, We will be in Lisbon next week. It will be our first time. Should we do a walking tour to orient ourselves? Has anyone tried one and like it? Thanks.

My first trip to Lisbon, I did a walking tour with 'Your friend in Lisbon'. It was some of the best money I spent on the trip and has been very beneficial since. You get a good history plus see a good number of the highlights of the city. They also show you some of the 'secret' elevators which are very beneficial in navigating some of the hills.
But, be prepared to walk and climb hills! Even with the elevators, Lisbon is very hilly and challenging if you aren't accustomed to climbing hills!
