Two senior, active couples traveling to Lisbon for the first time in October 2023.
Looking for recommendations of where to stay that is under $200/ night.

October is a nice time to visit and the weather should be comfortable (October is the new September). You will have plenty of options within this budget. I would suggest that you first research neighborhoods. Baixa, Chiado and perhaps up the hill to Principe Real are popular with tourists. Public transport is convenient and inexpensive as are rideshare options. Alfama is a must visit for sightseeing but an inconvenient neighborhood to stay. Bairro Alto and Cais do Sodré are party central and will be very noisy into the early morning hours.

For our 3 trips (and counting), we (two seniors) have loved an area just below the Principe Real around a little park (Praca das flores).
Reasonably quiet and a bit off the main tourist highway. A number of Airbnb's well within your budget
