I will be visiting Lisbon this April and am looking into hotels
I am looking for something centrally located- budget can be 300-400 per night, i will be traveling with older family member- looking for something nice
i was given few names- Browns Avenue and Alma Lusa Baixa-- read the reviews for Browns Avenue and didnt like it.
We want to stay somewhere near the avenida liberdad baixa
I can recommend a hotel in the Baixa neighborhood of Lisbon. It gets very high ratings on booking.com and I was very happy with it.
It is called Be Poet Baixa Hotel. Do not know if it is close to avenida liberdad baixa.
We've stayed here numerous times.
Emporium Lisbon Suites - Rua dos Bacalhoeiros 18,Santa Maria Maior, Lisbon.
Located in a flat walking area of Baixi, on the riverfront. Very central. Large rooms with kitchenettes. Most rooms have river views. I suggest a room high up if possible. The owners are helpful. I book on, booking.com or direct with the hotel.
Five minutes walk to the main shopping streets i.e. Rua Augusta. I much prefer this area to Avenida Liberdad.
