Uber pickup at Lisbon Airport

I am hearing conflicting information as to where Uber can pick up at Lisbon Airport.
Some say just across the street at Departures
Then I heard it was further away at Lot P8
Then I heard it was changed BACK to just across the street at Departures.

Does anyone know the latest?

I do not have your answer but the Facebook group Travel Portugal is really helpful with information.

The metro line has been extended to the airport, easy and fast into the city.
Lisbon metro is beautiful every station has beautiful, usually the iconic tile murals.

After a transAtlantic night flight, I do not want to immediately navigate the Metro. An Uber is worth it (at about 15 Euros)

Regular taxi service in Lisbon is very economical.

I agree that taxis in Lisbon are generally pleasant and quite reasonable.
Except at the airport where they have a reputation for overcharging overtired international travelers

Last October I took at taxi from Lisbon airport to the hotel Mundial. The cost was 25.00 euros. There were two of us and two suitcases.

For Uber pick up, go upstairs (escalator or elevator) from arrivals. Turn right after exiting baggage claim area and you will soon see the escalators. That will take you to departures. Go out the door and directly across the street is the “kiss and fly” area where people are dropped off for their flights. This is where Uber picks up.

Obrigado Kathrynj,
That is the local knowledge I had been seeking.
The location you describe is where I had assumed it would be but read that it had been moved further away to Lot T8. I am glad that it is back closer to the exit so my wife and I don't have to traipse so far.

PS, As we will be in Lisbon for the last 3 weeks of June, we are pondering a day trip to Cascais. I may seek input from you if we decide to go there

Kathyrij,
Thank you for the offer. I will send you a PM closer to my departure or maybe when I hit Lisboa. I will be looking for a place to have lunch (seafood, locals etc) and a few sights to see. I will be taking the train and can arrive early and stay through late afternoon. As my time will be flexible, I will work around the weather.
Best Regards,
Dennis
